Pool liners
Normally pool liners are made of vinyl and come in different patterns to line the inside of pools. Along with aesthetics, the pool liners add comfort to swimmers by adding a cushion between them and the pool’s concrete walls. The liner’s thickness can determine durability and cost—the thicker the longer it will last.
There are three types of above ground pool liners:
• Beaded
• Overlap
• J-HookThe pool liners differ in their installation methods. Beaded liners can only be used with a bead-receiving track, which either comes with the pool or can be added with a conversion kit. For overlap liners a liner clip must be available. The J-Hook liner is shaped like an upside down j and hooks over the edge of a pool.
